In one of my posts I had a nasty problem which took me a while to find out a solution. The problem was with having two dashes next to each other in an Linux command where I was writing about. Even though I wrote two dashes, WordPress made it appearing as one.

In order to make for example –script appear as --script Use the <code> button in the HTML view of your WordPress editor. And place your --script between <code></code> tags.
Is the best ? I have been using Code Markup, it is simple to use and displays the code just the way I wanted it. To be honest, they are all.
