November 25th, 2009

Quite some time I am playing the guitar. I have an acoustic and electric one (a black Ibanez EXR-170 for those interested). A friend of mine recommended practicing pentatonic scales. I looked up some link and started practising, this improved my guitar solo skills for sure. Here are the links I found:

Brand new guitar capo

March 13th, 2009

This week I received my brand new guitar capo. I ordered it at an eBay shop for a couple of dollars. The capo looks very solid and did its job great! I ordered the capo in order to play songs like Amy Macdonald’s Borrowland Ballroom (click for tab). When I played the song without capo I heard something was not quite right about the sound. Then I started reading the whole tab and saw a capo was needed. Now I can play the nice Amy sound with my capo :D
